Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease
Dr. Min Pu is Associate Professor of Clinical Internal Medicine and Director of the Echocardiography laboratory at The Ohio State University Medical Center. He finished his medical resident training at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine and Bronx VA Medical Center, and his Cardiology Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He specializes in echocardiography, stress echocardiography and transesophogeal echocardiography. He has expertise in heart valvular disease and conducts clinical research in mitral regurgitation and seeks for new medical therapy. He has established the cost-effective experimental model to study pathophysiology of chronic mitral regurgitation and test the effects of medical therapy. Dr. Pu has received numerous honors and awards and is author or coauthor of more than 85 original papers, abstracts, book chapters and review articles in peer-reviewed journals, including Circulation, Journal of American College of Cardiology, American Journal of Cardiology, Journal of American Society of Echocardiography. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a member of American Heart Association and the American Society of Echocardiography.
Experience Dr. Pu joined The Ohio State University Medical Center from Penn State University, Heart & Vascular Institute, where he served as an attending cardiologist and Director of Echocardiography Research. He has 20 years of experience in cardiovascular medicine.
