Dr. Richard Gumina is Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at The Ohio State University. He comes to OSU after serving as a Senior Associate Consultant in Interventional Cardiology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He is an affiliate-in-training member of the American College of Cardiology, as well as a member of the Basic Cardiovascular Science Council of the American Heart Association. Dr. Gumina has published original manuscripts in many peer reviewed journals, such as Circulation, Journal of American College of Cardiology, European Heart Journal, and the American Journal of Physiology.
