Advancing Genetics Knowledge

Outreach and education in the Division of Human Genetics continues to be multi-faceted. Community talks occur every month to provide the latest information to medical personnel as well as lay groups in the Central Ohio area.

Several times throughout the year, genetic counselors and faculty teach genetic counseling to OSU medical students, residents and fellows, as well as University of Cincinnati genetic counseling students. Rotations can be one- to three-months in length.
