Creating Outstanding Clinicians and InvestigatorsOne of the major goals of the Division of Infectious Diseases is to prepare medical students, residents and fellows to advance their clinical skills, scientific knowledge and patient caring attitudes in order to become outstanding clinicians and investigators.
Individuals train in The Ohio State University Medical Center's extensive primary and tertiary care facilities for a full range of patient care activities, and the Division's dedicated laboratories for research endeavors. This environment--together with a mix of inpatient rotations, consults, mentor relationships, outpatient opportunities and meetings and conferences--offers a truly dynamic, comprehensive and exciting learning environment. Our faculty's dedication is a key determinant in the success of our program.
