The Application Process
All applicants must use the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) at www.aamc.org/eras. Paper applications will not be accepted. We do not accept "supplemental" applications. All supporting documents for ERAS applications should be directed to ERAS and should include:
- Personal statement
- Curriculum vitae
- Medical School transcripts
- Three letters of recommendation from faculty familiar with your performance; at least one should be from your program director
- USMLE scores
*Effective for the 2009 academic year, we will be participating in the fellowship MATCH.
Registration will begin Janurary 2008 and end February 15, 2008. Interviews will be conducted through March and the Match Day will be in June. If you have any questions, please EMAIL the fellowship coordinator at andrea.wissman@osumc.edu.
Eligibility Criteria
- MD or DO
- US Citizenship, Permanent Resident, or J-1 Visa status
- Completed 3 years of US postgraduate training by the time of entry into the fellowship program
- For Foreign Medical Graduates - must have valid ECFMG certificate
The Interview Process
- Applicants will be invited to interview with our program. Please note that submitting an application through ERAS does not guarantee an interview
- Candidates will be interviewed by faculty and the program director. Candidates will also meet with current fellows
- Applicants are responsible for interview expenses such as travel, lodging, and incidentals
