The Nephrology Division at the Ohio State University Medical Center conducts one of the largest clinical programs in the country. The Nephrology Division is also nationally recognized for its basic science and clinical research, including leadership roles in each of the previous NIH sponsored National Collaborative Renal Clinical Trials.

Since 1984, the Nephrology fellowship program has trained 47 fellows. Of those, 30 percent have pursued academic careers and 70 percent are in clinical practice across the country.
