OSU Docs on Mythbusting Mission
History Channel
March 2007
Several OSUMC physicians will be featured this fall in a one-hour production for the History Channel following several days of taping here at the Medical Center. The show, a pilot currently titled “House of the Unknown," revolves around a set of talismans/artifacts connected to unusual events in Ohio history. The story lines include an 1870 case where a young man was supposedly buried alive, a family that was poisoned and an execution that resulted in a mangled crucifix held in the inmate's hands. The producer feels that science can explain many of the phenomena involved in these incidents, and called up Drs. Clay Marsh, Ulysses Magalang, Charles Hitchcock and Jonathan Groner to help explain the events.
