1st Annual Pulmonary Research Day
The 1st Annual Pulmonary Research Day was held on September 22, 2006 in the Dorothy M. Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute.
The Inaugural Lecture was given by Francis McCormack, MD, Division Director-Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care from the University of Cincinnati.
Opening remarks were made by Michael Grever, MD, Chair-OSU Department of Internal Medicine; Jay Zweier, MD, Director-Dorothy M. Davis Heart & Lung Research Institute; and Clay Marsh, MD, Director-OSU Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine Division.
Mark Wewers, MD, Professor of Internal Medicine provided a history of the Division and a Message from the Dean was given by Wiley "Chip" Souba, MD, PhD, Dean-OSU College of Medicine.
